“Living Water”

Everyone is searching for something that will finally be enough.

In relationships, success, and experiences — yet the feeling of emptiness returns. Something is always missing. Everyone knows the feeling of achieving something and it still not being enough. Jesus stopped at a well and said to a woman: there is water that fills you once and for all. He didn't promise it would be easy. He promised it would be enough.

If someone asks: “What does ‘Living Water’ mean?”—tell them: “When you’re thirsty, you drink, and after a little while you’re thirsty again. It’s the same with joy and success: you have to work over and over again for a moment’s satisfaction. Living Water, on the other hand, is something you receive once and it never runs out. It doesn’t leave you empty. I receive this from God, and Jesus can give it to anyone who feels they’ve already tried everything.”

If someone asks: “What is Living Water?”—tell them: “Do you know that feeling of having achieved something—a connection, a success—and yet it still wasn’t enough? Everyone longs to be loved and valued. But if we expect this from people, sooner or later we will be disappointed. Unconditional love can only come from God.”

If someone asks: “Why are you wearing a T-shirt like that?”—tell them, “Because I realized that everything I tried only lasted for a short while. This is the only thing that doesn’t. I’d be happy to tell you about it if you’re interested.”
